Meet Our Senior Training Managers
We are delighted to secure the services of two of the most experienced trainers in the North East region. Both David Wareham and Stephen Burrell have been delivering Driver CPC courses since it's introduction in 2009. In fact both Dave and Steve were one of the first from our region to be tested by RTITB in Telford, Shropshire when the joint RTITB consortium with JAUPT began approving those who would then deliver the courses throughout the country.
Below is a more detailed insight into our two senior trainers pedigrees.
David Wareham
Dave has been in training for nearly 40 years. He started out training in the Royal Navy training apprentices / cadets and midshipmen. Having retired from the RN he then took over the training at British Shipbuilders training facility at Hebburn on Tyneside. When British Shipbuilders was privatised (and the facility's future was not secured with the sale of the yards) he left to set up his own training centre. Ever since then he has been involved in safety awareness for utility companies such as gas / water and electric, been involved with all types of plant and equipment. Dave has delivered Driver CPC courses since its inception.
Stephen Burrell
Steve has been involved in training for over 10 years. He started his working life in the Royal Air Force where he was for 9 years. Having left the forces he joined Esso working out of Heathrow Airport refuelling aircraft. It was here he obtained qualifications relating 
to heavy goods vehicles and completed instructor courses on various plant and machinery. Having obtained this experience he came back to the North East to set up his own training centre. Steve along with Dave was one of the first to be tested by RTITB in 2009, but even before Driver CPC was introduced Steve was delivering heavy goods vehicles courses in Class I and Class II.
As well as the two guys above we have acces to 4 other trainers who we can call on to deliver courses during busy periods.
